Nubank launched the first social interaction tool within its application: NuBolo. The novelty will be made available gradually in the new tab of the app dedicated exclusively to World Cup content and was designed for customers in Brazil to create groups and make predictions about the World Cup games. Users will be able to make their guesses between October 27th and December 18th.
The initiative came after we heard from our customers that the cake experience available in the market is usually low-tech and that almost half of the people used spreadsheets in the last edition of the world tournament. That’s why we decided to invest in NuBolo to enhance the experience of this World Cup with the technology, simplicity and characteristics of Nu, and improve this very cool ritual of Brazilian culture., explained Isabela Abbes, Nubank’s brand director.
Customers can participate in the cake in two ways: in the General Ranking, with all other participating users; or at Bolo de Grupo, where you can create closed groups and invite friends and family members who are also Nubank customers to compete.
The cake prizes will be distributed based on the user’s performance as a guesser and the three clients who are best placed in the General Ranking at the end of the group stage will be awarded.
In addition, the three best-placed clients in the General Ranking will be awarded when the World Cup ends.
