Available in 17 countries, cards can be purchased through the company’s digital partners
Airbnb announced the expansion of gift cards for Brazilian travelers, a tool to expand booking possibilities and access to stays offered by hosts on the platform.
Available in 17 countries, including the US, Germany, UK, Canada and Mexico, cards now made available by digital partners in Brazil can be used to book stays or experiences.
In Brazil, the values range from R$ 150, R$ 250, R$ 500 to R$ 1,000.00. Sales are available through digital partners such as PicPay, Mliuz, Americanas, Submarino, ShopTime, Zero3Games, GCM Games, KaBuM!, among others.
After purchase, you need to redeem the Gift Card on the official Airbnb website to use it according to your preference. Cards purchased in Brazil can only be redeemed by residents of the country, but are valid for bookings announced on the platform anywhere in the world.
Once the Gift Card is added to the user’s registered Airbnb account, the credit will never expire as long as the user maintains their account on the platform, and unused amounts will remain intact until they are used.
If the purchase exceeds the amount of the gift card, the difference must be paid with another payment method registered.
