With hundreds of university students registered, the world’s largest VALORANT tournament for students reaches the last qualifier in Brazil. This Saturday (29), young people from all over the country connect to the fps server to compete for the remaining spot for the national final and the chance to represent the nation against 50 countries, in December, in São Paulo (SP).
In the previous qualifier, ‘Odin e Amigos’, current Latin American champion of the event, started at a high level, giving up a few rounds in MD1 and dominating the maps in MD3. However, it was not enough to reach the national final and, this Saturday (29), he will return to the server in search of a spot. In addition to this team, there are also teams that will honor their universities, such as USP Cronos, Unifesp E-Rex, Espm Overbite, UFABC Storm and UFSC Storm, as well as a souvenir to FURIA, one of the most successful Brazilian orgs in the game.
The dispute system remains the same. In teams of five players, students enrolled in a higher education institution have to face the qualifier, whose format is MD1 until the quarterfinals and, subsequently, becomes MD3, with an eye on the national final. The champion team will represent Brazil at the world stage, in São Paulo (SP), in December, and will be able to win up to 20 thousand euros and experience a VIP experience in the VALORANT Champions Tour 2023.
In the last edition, more than 25 thousand students registered in the 400 events around the world. In Brazil, the event brought together university students from more than 100 different educational institutions, including streamer Eduardo ‘Korean’ Martins, with more than 460,000 subscribers on his Twitch channel. In 2022, Red Bull Campus Clutch has global partnerships with Intel NUC, SteelSeries, AGON by AOC and Backforce and participation from 50 countries, such as the USA, Argentina, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Poland .
