The channel now has other programs, licensed products, a party and a new address
October 27th marks a special moment for PodPah. With a new studio and new programs, the date will be marked as the day that, effectively, PodPah ceases to be ‘the most zika podcast on the internet’ and becomes ‘the most zika channel on the internet’.
The new three-story building located in the Pinheiros region, in So Paulo, becomes the home not only of the mesacast presented by Igo and Mtico to become the home of Rango Brabo, a program that will be presented by Diogo Defante and with the premiere scheduled for November 1st, and Quebrada FC, the hub’s sports program to be presented by Rafael Vieira, known on the internet as JuKanalha.
According to the CEO of the now content hub, Victor Assis, the idea is that the channel will have five or six programs in its weekly schedule by the end of 2023.
“This new space is a space that allows a lot of creation. Our ability to carry out new projects, produce new ideas increases a lot. It’s a new era. The PodPah channel now has the PodPah Podcast, Rango Brabo and Quebrada FC, in addition to other projects that we already have in mind, with the formats, but it still doesn’t have a name and a logo”, said Assis.
New programs and new opportunities for brands
As the name suggests, the program presented by Diogo Defante, Rango Brabo, will be a cooking program, but according to Rafael Romano, head of marketing at PodPah, it is not intended to teach people how to make complex recipes.
“Our premise is not to teach people how to cook. It’s going to be easy. We’re going to get these types of recipes,” explained Romano.
The program, unlike the mesacast, will not be live and will initially be published once a week, totaling four monthly episodes. The hub’s plan is that, in the future, this number will rise to eight, that is, two episodes per week.
The premiere is scheduled for November 1st and the program, for now, does not have sponsors for the first month.
“There is still no sponsorship, because there is a bit of a mystery in the program. I can’t explain it. The brand needs to watch the first ones, understand the program and, oh yes, see how the brand would get there”, explained the head of marketing.
The sports program of the house, Quebrada FC, already has some marks in place for the project to start taking its first steps next year. The idea of the format presented by JuKanalha, according to Victor Assis, is to show how to live the world of sport without being part of it.
“Quebrada FC’s idea is to show the lifestyle around the sport. JuKanalha will show the backstage, the home of the players he knows. The idea is also to show what to live in the world of sport without being part of it. We don’t want to be Globo Sport, showing the score of the game. We are going to show you how to live this world”, explained the CEO.
With the launch of the new programs, the channel’s sponsorships will happen in a different way. Instead of sponsoring the channel itself, brands will be able to sponsor the program they choose.
“The sponsor will sponsor the program. In the same concept as a TV station. We are going to work it out with the brands, very clearly, that they will be sponsoring that specific program. The sponsorship for the hub itself will depend on the programs that the We have this vision that brands now sponsor the programs and no longer the channel”, added Assis.
“Money are PodPah’s best friend”
The financial health of PodPah is going, as you can imagine, very well, thank you, but, along with the new programs that will be launched, the hub will have other ways to diversify its income.
In addition to AdSense on Youtube and advertisements made on the channel, PodPah also has licensed products (such as backpacks, notebooks, etc.), a lifestyle clothing brand and a party, PodParty.
“Next year, we want to have this party. We don’t have the dates yet, but it will be a party for 3 or 4 thousand people, with musical attractions, with Igor and Mtico enjoying with the crowd and an opening live for those who If you’re not in person, you can also enjoy it. The first one will take place in So Paulo, but the idea is to travel around Brazil with her. .
