A survey carried out by the Sinapro/Fenapro System with 288 agencies from 16 states plus the Federal District indicated that the hybrid work model was boosted during the pandemic and will be the most adopted among advertising agencies in the country in 2022. About 41% of the interviewed agencies are already operating in this way.
The remote work model, widely adopted by most agencies since the beginning of the pandemic, appears almost tied with the face-to-face model, both with 29%, according to the survey.
Regarding the future of the work model, 59% of agencies responded that they will adopt the hybrid model, while 33% said they returned to the face-to-face model after the end of the pandemic, and 8% remained with remote work.
According to the survey, 33% of agencies that responded that they will adopt on-site or hybrid, said they will return later this year, while 34% intend to return in 2022 and 31% have no forecast or do not intend to return to offices.
“Many agencies have realized that hybrid work can be interesting both for employees, who can increase their quality of life and professional income, and for companies, which cut costs related to face-to-face work and found a way to survive with the work performed. on the remote model. Therefore, the hybrid work model is here to stay”, assessed Daniel Queiroz, president of Fenapro.
Adherence levels for hybrid, face-to-face, or remote work vary by state. At branches in the Federal District (DF), Espírito Santo (ES), Rio Grande do Norte (RN), Minas Gerais (MG) and São Paulo (SP), remote work should still be maintained in the near future, in percentages that will vary. from 6%, in the case of Espírito Santo, to 13%, in the branches of São Paulo, while in states such as Paraná (PR), Rio de Janeiro (RJ) and Santa Catarina (SC), the trend is that remote work is not more adopted by agencies, but hybrid work.
On the other hand, it was observed that Paraná (PR) and Santa Catarina (SC), in-person work was the majority even during the pandemic period, at rates of 35% and 58%, respectively, and should remain so.
