Audi do Brasil announces an unprecedented partnership with Imperial Sportbet.io, the esports team that will represent Brazil in the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) world championship, to be celebrated in the city of Rio de Janeiro between the 31st October and November 13th. The competition will bring together 24 international teams in pursuit of the title and the $1.25 million prize.
The manufacturer will be responsible for the official transport of the athletes and will make available three vehicles that bring together all the technology, innovation, sportiness and sophistication of the four rings assembler: the brand new A5 Sportback, RS 6 Avant and RS Q8. The chosen models are green, the same color as the team’s shield, and were personalized with special stickers that identify the partnership.

The Imperial Sportsbet.io team is formed by the players Marcelo “Chelo” Cespedes, Fernando “Fer” Alvarenga, Ricardo “Boltz” Prass, Vinicius “Vini” Figueiredo and Gabriel “Fallen” Toledo. The coach is Lincoln “Fnx” Lau. The team was in Europe at bootcamps and playing tournaments, and returned to the city of São Paulo at the end of October for the final preparation phase.
The Championship has three stages: Challengers Stage, Legends Stage and Champions Stage. In these three phases and the fanfest, the Major do Rio should attract more than 200,000 people who must attend the event in person, in addition to the online audience worldwide.
Four rings in shades of green
Audi Exclusive colors will set the tone of the partnership between Audi do Brasil and Imperial Sportsbet.io. The sports RS 6 Avant and RS Q8 have the exclusive colors Goodwood Green and Java Green. The Audi RS 6 Avant is the fastest stationwagon in the world and is in its fourth generation. The RS Q8 is the brand’s most powerful sports SUV. Both have the 4.0 TFSI engine that delivers 600 hp and 800 Nm of torque.
The A5 Sportback completes the list, which has standard items such as adaptive cruise control, Matrix LED headlights, touchscreen display and electric assistance technology. The model has a recent update in its 2.0 TFSI engine, which went from 190 horsepower and 320 torque to 204 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. The adjustments made the model’s 0-100 km/h acceleration drop from 7.3 to 7.2 seconds.
