Burger King, in “How to Explain?”
Through a film, co-created with psychology and diversity specialists, BK proposes an invitation to reflect on the inclusion of the LGBTQIA+ community in our society. Depicting, in a genuine and spontaneous way, the true perspective on plurality and love, through the eyes of children. The campaign is by David Agency and receivedhomophobic attacks.
Nike, in New Fairies
Launched in early May, the global campaign forNike, titled as“Go in the New” (Play New), aims to invite people to discover the sport in a different way. In order to make skateboarding a more inclusive sport for the female audience, the brand presents a film starring Rayssa Leal, silver medalist in the street skate category.
O Boticário with Marivaldo and Ana Cristina
Starting from the phrase “Being a father is not putting a child in the world, it’s putting all the love in the world into a child“, the brand invites the public to know the story of Marivaldo de Paula and Ana Cristina, his daughter. Created byAlmapBBDO, the campaign recalls that Marivaldo tattooed a hearing aid on his head, about 6 years ago, so that his daughter would feel more secure in using it.
Brastemp in “Deslaved Apologies”
Thinking about the ready-made answers that people use to avoid domestic activities, such as “I don’t know how to do it”, “when I went to do it, you had already done it”, Brastemp launches “Deslaved Apologies”, a campaign about the lack of gender equity in the work from home.
Signed byFCB Brasil,the campaign is part of the brand’s positioning against stereotypes in the home, as tasks such as cleaning, cooking and washing are normally left to women. Men, on the other hand, often use such excuses for not contributing to housework.
Free Market in “New Iconic Kisses”
Starting with the campaign ofFree marketEntitled “New Iconic Kisses”, the brand stars LGBTI+ couples in iconic pop culture kisses. Created byGUT, the campaign is one of the most explicit kisses from homosexual couples in Brazilian advertising so far. With scenes inspired by pop culture, the video is an invitation to normalize #BeijosIconicos starring different couples.
