Meta presented this Monday (7), during Creator Week 2022, its new tools, designed to help creators connect with their community and, consequently, generate business.
This year’s Creator Week edition sought to inspire, debate and foster the creators market in the country. In addition to Brazil, the event also took place in India (Delhi), Indonesia (Bali), the United Kingdom (London) and the United States (Los Angeles).
More than 400 content creators of all sizes were invited to discuss the successes and challenges in the field and what opportunities the creative content market will have in the future.
At the event, it was explained how the ecosystem of creators is part of the development of the metaverse and how they can already prepare for the next chapter of the internet, as well as tips on how to use Reels to expand their careers and their communities.

New tools to create on Instagram
Meta introduced a new feature that allows both creators and companies to schedule publications. With this, professional accounts will be able to schedule Reels, photos and carousels up to 75 days in advance, directly in the Instagram app.
However, the company said that some posts, such as paid partnership content and product tags, will not be available for scheduling yet, but we hope to bring this functionality to all formats soon.
Also new is that creators will now also be able to share short videos on Instagram directly from other apps. According to Meta, this function will be available in the coming weeks in the following apps: Videoleap, Reface, Smule, VivaVideo, SNOW, B612, VITA and Zoomerang, and others coming soon.
Monetizao no Facebook
The company recently launched music revenue sharing on Facebook, which offers music creators and music rights holders a new way to make money from videos on the platform. Starting today, Meta said that whenever a creator uses a licensed song in their Facebook videos (60 seconds or more), they can earn money through in-stream ads, with a portion of the revenue going back to the creators. music rights holders.
Pro mode
A new professional mode for Facebook profiles has also been introduced. This is a profile setting that allows creators to create a public presence while maintaining their personal experience on the platform. Professional mode gives users a set of tools to start building a global community from their personal profile. With the pro mode, creators can earn money through Stars, Facebook Reels ads, in-stream ads, and Reels Play. They will also have access to content and audience metrics, educational resources, Meta said.
