Today the YouTube is announcing that it has surpassed 80 million Music and Premium subscribers worldwide. The milestone signals growth of 30 million subscribers from the 50 million posted last year.
Among the factors that have led to this significant increase is YouTube’s mission to be the best place for all music fans. The news also follows the brand’s recent $6 billion investment in the industry, in the 12 months between July 2021 and June 2022.
YouTube Music and Premium differ from the standard version of the site. Music, as its name says, is aimed at the public who loves to use the platform to listen to their favorite songs. Premium, on the other hand, has some advantages compared to the original application, without changes, such as the fact that there are no advertisements.
