Marca supports the organization Corpo Livre in the event Movimenta, which takes place this Saturday (12)
Dove joined the Free Body Movement, an organization that brings together creators and professionals focused on disseminating the discourse of body acceptance and self-esteem, in order to broaden the debate on body standards at the opening of the movement’s first physical space in So Paulo.
With a project signed by Maurcio Arruda, the house will be inaugurated this Saturday (12) with the event “Movimenta”, a day of activations carried out with the support of the brand. Dove says that it provides experiences with the aim of opening space for new discussions about the free body and self-love, and also to question established standards and acceptance through the eyes of others.
Among the activities are a conversation circle on the topic How the other’s gaze impacts the way we see ourselves, and an exhibition Por um gaze sem patterns, by photographer Milena Paulina, which brings the representation of bodies marginalized by society.
Finally, the artist herself will command a pop-up photo studio at the event so that guests have an individual and immersive experience as they are portrayed experiencing a moment of connection with their bodies.
We want to bring new questions to the table that make us reflect on beauty standards, which so affect the confidence and self-esteem of thousands of people every day,” said Paula Paiva, digital and media leader at Dove.
