Amateur team from Itagua, in Rio de Janeiro, receive support from the language platform for a year
To talk about the World Cup, the language platform Duolingo has become an official sponsor of Qatar. But not from the country, but from Qatar FC, an amateur soccer team from Itagua, Rio de Janeiro.
The mascot Duo, known for being a demanding teacher, now also plays the role of coach, in a video in which he motivates players as they practice the sport, they sign the contract for the sponsorship.
In addition to providing new uniforms for Qatar FC, with this partnership Duolingo will be responsible for renting the soccer field for a year, in addition to donating sports equipment such as balls, cones and water bottles to the team.
