Artwalk, a reference in streetwear and a specialist in the sneaker universe, announces its newest collaboration, which will feature exclusive pieces from one of the most beloved heroes of the geek universe, Spider-Man.
The collection features T-shirts and sweatshirts that adopt the “phygital” concept, which unites the physical with the digital, allowing the public to access an Instagram filter based on the print on each piece. This is Marvel’s first phygital collection launched in Brazil and is part of the brand’s strategy to position itself in the universe lifestyle?? The augmented reality experience features Artwalk and Marvel elements such as brand logos and sneaker boxes. The pieces will be on sale in December at Artwalk’s physical stores.
Three prints and three exclusive Instagram filters were developed, one of which features the first Spider-Man logo used by Marvel. The prints carry the concept of the character with meanings that are directly related to the streetwear universe, such as the sneakers and clothes worn by Miles Morales, the urban setting and representation on the streets. In addition, the collection features an unprecedented print of Miles Morales developed by the artist from Minas Gerais Maasaiwhich reinterpreted the hero in the project Marvel – The Power is Ours.
In August this year, the hero Spider-Man turned 60, and he will be honored through a fashion show at SPFW (São Paulo Fashion Week) held by Rio de Janeiro stylist Lucas Leão on November 20th. The brand that bears his name focuses on clothing connected to technology, combining research and innovation in the production of garments. The designer’s shows are designed to provide an immersive and sensorial experience for the public, taking streetwear fashion to a new level of innovation.
