The “Entrelinhas” project resulted in three mini-documentaries, recorded by Thinlers Co.
Instituto C&A launched the Entrelinhas project, which seeks to connect three pairs of Brazilian brands with different trajectories with the aim of expanding opportunities and promoting the exchange of fashion knowledge.
With a methodology developed by the Institute, each pair carried out two days of immersive face-to-face process for the development of looks that will be launched in collaboration.
The creative process and brand meetings, captured through the lens of Thinkers Co., resulted in three mini-documentaries about each of the duos and, at the end of the project, participants decide whether the pieces will be produced on a larger scale and sold, under responsibility and costing of the brands involved.
With this project, we seek to promote the connection and exchange of knowledge between the pairs involved, in addition to giving visibility so that brands, especially beginners, can attract new commercial partners and have more access to the fashion market, pointed out Gustavo Narciso, Executive Director of Instituto C&A.
The meetings and cultural exchange took place between the 2nd and the 19th of August 2022.
Instituto C&A always seeks to act as a promoter of Brazilian authorial fashion brands, which positively impact the communities in which they operate, either through income generation or by encouraging black, peripheral, women and groups to play a leading role. LGBTQIAP+, added Narciso.
