Claro, the official telecommunications operator in South America for the FIFA World Cup 2022™ in Qatar, launches, in an innovative way, an exclusive collection of NFTs for the operator’s customers. In all, there are seven models of Cup-themed NFTs, one for each round of the tournament. As part of the action developed in partnership with DM9, in addition to composing the customer’s digital wallet with a crypto asset, the NFTs offered by Claro offer an exclusive experience and guarantee a pair of tickets for BUDX, a party held by Budweiser to broadcast the competition .
In each round, Claro will distribute 10 NFTs, of the same model, and the redemption will be carried out through the Minha Claro website or app, through Claro Clube points, the operator’s rewards platform. In all, 70 NFTs will be distributed. NFTs will be released three days before each round’s games, so users can acquire tokens in time to enjoy BUDX matches and parties in their region.

For the development of the arts for the NFTs, the brand had the creative direction of Benson Chin, art design by Fernanda Fonseca and illustrations by Shun Izumi and Breno Ferreira, artists from Casa Locomotiva. The works will all be inspired by the events of the 2022 FIFA World Cup™ in Qatar. In order for the NFT to be even more unique and personalized, after each round of the competition, the digital arts will be personalized with the results of the matches, making it reflect the emotions and events of the games.

How to redeem Claro’s NFT
To redeem, you must be a customer of the operator with access to Claro Clube (postpaid, broadband or Claro tv+). The arts of the NFTs will be released in advance by the operator and the crypto assets will be available for redemption before each match.
With a limited and exclusive quantity of NFTs, customers need to access Claro Clube, on the specific day of the tokens launch, redeem their NFT voucher and address it to their digital wallet to then receive the “mint” – which is what confirms that the crypto asset is your property.
With the redemption of Claro’s NFT carried out, the customer will have, in his Metamask digital wallet, a unique and personalized crypto asset for him.
