On November 23, Black Consciousness week, Cidade Alta, the largest and most watched GTA RP server in Latin America, will host the first black music festival in the metaverse, the IMuNe Festival, which will be held on its server, with broadcast of live shows by players on Twitch.
The non-profit initiative will feature the in-game participation of references from the current national rap culture, singers, presenters, members of Cidade Alta and several other guests such as multi-artist Bia Nogueira, Raphael Sales, Cleopatra, Maria Baldaia, and the transvestite rapper Afronta MC, will be present on the server.
In addition to the shows, the IMuNe Festival will have a space where players will be able to explore and enjoy the festival’s programming that brings the release of the Bia Nogueira clip in partnership with the singer and influencer, Bela Maria and excerpts of the best moments of the IMuNe Festival that took place in person in Belo Horizonte on November 2nd, with the presence of rapper Djonga and rapper and digital influencer Guxta.
The project is conceived by the musician, actress and producer Bia Nogueira, who emphasizes the importance of the collective of artists and their goal of achieving more and more visibility for black artists to project their work. “This action in the metaverse creates a very interesting bond between black music and the gamer universe, we managed to bring all our ancestry to a 100% digital and decentralized audience and this is fundamental for the execution of projects that have the anti-racist fight as their main objective, to including debating spaces that are historically denied to us”.
The 2022 edition of the IMuNe Festival is the second major responsibility action that takes place at the CDA, in 2021 the server received its first LGBTQIA+ Pride parade
