A podcast that takes a look at the future, helping the public to understand a little more about innovation in an uncomplicated way. This is the proposal of the podcast “Megulhos”, which Petrobras launches this Tuesday (12/13), available on the main digital platforms. The first season will show how topics such as robotics, supercomputers and extended reality can impact people’s lives and open up a series of new possibilities for the future.
In a light and casual way, the first five episodes will feature experts in science and innovation, who will discuss news, trends and all the potential brought by technologies.
Petrobras’ Creative and Digital manager, Vinícius Bastiani, comments:
“Petrobras has built a journey of innovation over the last few decades, breaking record after record, always at the forefront of technology. In this way, the theme of our podcast could not be any other. Our purpose is to talk about innovation in a simple way that is connected to people’s daily lives and, at the same time, instigate curiosity and bring relevant content that dialogues with our audiences.”
The first episode deals with a theme that has gained strength in the scenario of reducing greenhouse gas emissions: the development of a new generation of sustainable fuels, with a low carbon footprint and greater energy efficiency. Based on a lot of research and technology, science has innovated in this sector to meet the demands of society and a changing world. To talk about this, “Dives” brought together guests Rogério Soares, a specialist in sustainable fuels at Petrobras, and PUC-Rio researcher Renata Nohra – under the baton of host Sergio Sacani, scientist and anchor of the channels Ciência sem Fim and Space Today.
