The main terms searched by Brazilians on Yahoo in 2022

A survey points out that the most popular subjects are related to football, elections, reality TV, among other topics.

Yahoo released its annual report featuring the main terms searched by Brazilians in 2022.

The list, completed in November this year, is divided into three categories (General, News and People) and, according to the report, the most searched subjects are related to football, politics, reality TV, artists and others.

The year 2022 was marked by several events, such as the return of events, elections, the World Cup and wars, which justifies some of the most searched terms on the platform. In addition, the list also indicates that users were more aware of what happens in Brazil and in the world throughout the year, and used the internet as an ally to keep up to date with everyday events.

Among the terms that stood out this year are Flamengo, Jair Bolsonaro and Eleies 2022.
