The campaign signed by GUT So Paulo
The internet is always bringing up a new meme of a person who looks like someone from the past and who, for the internet, that person would be a time traveler. And that’s what Spaten is looking for in its new campaign.
With almost 700 years of history, the brand has selected nine works from the past and is now looking for nine people who look like the painted figure to present them with 700 Spatens for one year. The campaign signed by GUT So Paulo.
The campaign starts from a recurrent non-social insight to present Spaten as a beer that has crossed the centuries – one of its main characteristics. The campaign is an invitation for the public to be part of this story”, said Tiago Abreu, Creative Director at GUT So Paulo.
To participate, the public needs to publish a personal photograph together with one of the photos of the works selected by Spaten on their own account on Twitter or Instagram, tagging the profile of the brand on the networks with the hashtag #SpatenNodeHoje. The initiative runs from the 14th to the 20th of December.
To spread the campaign, the brand invited names like Fernanda Paes Lemi, Jos Loreto, Ana Clara Lima, Camila Queiroz, Jeniffer Nascimento and Thiago Oliveira to post their photos.
We want to show how Spaten has gone through time with actions that increasingly emphasize our brewing experience and expertise. All of this, bringing us even closer to consumers in a creative and unexpected way, added Joice Carvalho, head of marketing at Spaten.
