Nivea, through the purpose “O Toque Que Transforma e Inspira Conexes”, presented the e-book “Biografias Pretas Histórias de Quem Cuida”, co-created with the brand’s internal public and Instituto Das Pretas, an innovation and social technology organization from Espírito Santo. .
Launched at the Festival do Pursito, the book was produced based on dialogues and lessons learned between black women leaders in their niches and voluntary collaborators who were able to write about these experiences with the intention of creating a legacy.
In total, the book tells the story of 13 black women who went through Cuida de Quem Cuida, a project also conducted in partnership with Instituto Das Pretas to accelerate educational training focused on Afro-entrepreneurship, active citizenship, dialogues about futures and impact businesses. . The platform aims to transform and promote the autonomy of black women, who are historically entrepreneurs and social mobilizers.
We are, over the months, creating a series of projects that connect and move towards a single objective: to recognize the power of black women in different parts of society. Cuida de Quem Cuida inspired Biografias Pretas and we are very proud of that, said Ligia Annunziato, leader of Nivea’s Agenda de Purpose.
