The action is part of the Buy and Donate Campaign and aims to contribute to reducing the transmission of sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
Reckitt Health & Nutrition Comercial, the health and nutrition division of the Reckitt Group, through its Jontex brand, will initially donate 100,000 condoms to Casa Florecer, an institution that welcomes trans and transvestite women in situations of social vulnerability.
The action aims to contribute to reducing the transmission of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) such as HIV/AIDS and syphilis.
With the Buy and Donate campaign, which lasts from January 12th to February 12th, Jontex will invite customers to collaborate for the continuity of this initiative. With each purchase of any condom package at one of the pharmacies participating in the Drogarias So Paulo and Pacheco, Farmacia So Joo, Drogaria Venncio and Pague Menos chains, Jontex will allocate a unit of Jontex Morango to the institution.
These partnerships and actions are in full feat with the purpose we have as a company and as a Jontex brand. More than selling a product or idea, we also work to protect and minimize the impacts of adversity in communities, whether through access to resources and/or information, especially when it comes to elevating people and providing better quality of life, highlights Ricardo Monteiro, Jontex brand manager at Reckitt Health & Nutrition Comercial.
Another company action is the partnership with the Quebrando o Tabu platform in the production of informative content, which includes interviews on the street and with infectologists, such as doctor Vincius Borges, a specialist in LGBT+ and HIV health. The initiatives were launched during Red December, a month dedicated to raising awareness and combating HIV/AIDS and other STIs.
