The Globo network’s reality show, No Limite, which was shown again last year, will have a new presenter. Previously presented by André Marques, the program will now gain new directions with the presentation of Fernando Fernandes, a former Paralympic athlete.
The news about the new version of No Limite was announced during the Mais Você program, presented by Ana Maria Braga, this Thursday, the 6th of January. In addition to being a Paralympic athlete in canoeing, Fernando Fernandes was also known after participating in the second edition of Big Brother Brasil.
On Instagram, Fernandes commented a little about the experience of presenting No Limite, see below:
Fernando went on to become a professional in soccer and practice amateur boxing. However, the career of No Limite’s new presenter as an athlete came after he became paralyzed in a car accident, which happened in 2009, years after Fernandes spent time at BBB. Today, the presenter is four-time world champion in his canoeing category.
Fernando also presented other programs such as “Além dos Limites” on the Off channel and the picture “Sobre Rodas” on the Globo program Esporte Espetacular. Also in Mais Você by Ana Maria Braga, Fernando commented a little about the novelty and what it represents for him:
“Starting the year with this news… it couldn’t be better. I’ll be in front of this show that I’ve always been a fan, that I’ve always admired and wanted to be present. Now I will be there, commanding this boat. I’m the one who always crossed limits, I did, now I’m going to present this program and try to get the best that people have to give. Get ready because a much more intense, more demanding No Limit is coming, because I will be pushing this limit. “
The new season of No Limite will gain two weekly episodes. Although there is no exact release date, the program is scheduled to start around April, after the end of Big Brother Brasil 22.
