GLOW aims to amplify LGBTQIAP+ voices and stories through different initiatives
Spotify has launched a new global program that is designed to celebrate the LGBTQIAP+ community and promote audio equity, called GLOW, which is supported by the Creator Equity Fund.
For the launch, the platform invited 11 artists from around the world. Brazil has Pabllo Vittar and Liniker as representatives, but artists Sam Smith, Tove Lo, Villano Antillano, Joesef, Arlo Parks, Bruses, Natalia Lacunza, Jean Seizure and Leland also join the project.
GLOW aims to amplify LGBTQIAP+ voices and stories through different initiatives, including the GLOW hub which consists of a dedicated space on Spotify to highlight the audio offering of community voices to queer users and allies. In addition, the project’s global playlist will be updated weekly, highlighting tracks from LGBTQIAP+ artists.
