Last Tuesday night, January 24th, the Brasil Criativo Award ceremony took place at the Centro Cultural São Paulo. The fourth edition of the award, which is the main recognition of the Brazilian creative economy, celebrates people and projects in areas such as urban art, audiovisual, content creation, creative leadership, music, gastronomy, fashion, among others.
Lucas Foster, creator and curator of the event, says:
“The creative capacity of Brazilians is something extraordinary, which deserves to be explored and encouraged more and more. In this edition, we saw an incredible diversity of projects, in addition to the ability and willingness to undertake and create something unique and socially relevant.”
With concerts by the Bloco Afro IIu Oba de Min and by the singer, actress and indigenous activist Kaê Guajarara, the event also kicked off pre-Carnival actions in the capital of São Paulo.
The Brasil Criativo Award is organized by Elo 3 and the World Creativity Organization, with a presentation by 3M, sponsored by SEBRAE, support from the Municipal Secretary of Culture, Municipal Secretary of Economic Development, Work of São Paulo, Unesco, Progen, National Forum of Culture and institutional partnership of CriaBrasilis.
