Meta reveals finalists for the inaugural Meta Video Awards, which highlight the best uses of video on their platforms. The jury was made up of professionals from Brazil, Argentina and Mexico, and evaluated the works between November 2022 and January 2023.
The award will offer special recognition to the best videos in Latin America, taking place for the first time in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico. The award ceremony will take place in March of this year.
Works published in any Meta channel between June 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022, in whole or in part, compete for this edition.
Among the awarded winners in any of the three categories, the jury will choose the Grand Meta Award, a special recognition to the campaign that most generated business results using Meta video solutions with an innovative strategy and that is a source of inspiration and influence for the entire industry.
The evaluation was made according to predefined criteria:

The Meta Video Awards panel of judges has 36 members and is composed of professionals from Argentina, Mexico and Brazil, with vast and varied professional experience.
Laura Chiavone, Director and Head of Agencies at Meta and judge in Brazil, says: “We are very happy with the Meta Video Awards and celebrate the creativity of brands and creators who never cease to surprise us every day”. Fred Battaglia, another Brazilian judge, states that “We are in an era of scarcity of attention and in this context creativity is everything! It is the only way to gain relevance with our potential consumers and create a connection with them”. Marketing Director at Stellantins South America, Battaglia also says that the Meta Video Awards come to celebrate the achievements of the communication industry, reward the talent present in the market and encourage the production of quality content, which entertains and at the same time promotes growth of business.
The competing works are original, written and sent by the participants with the consent of the advertising brand. Creators are linked to a company, brand or agency.
