DigitalReef, a company focused on marketing technology for mobile and CTV, has just entered into a partnership with Gamers Club, a gaming community hub, marking its entry into this constantly growing market. With this, the innovative features of the DigitalReef platform will be focused on the needs of publishers of games, gamers and others players of this industry throughout the region.
The partnership is focused on:
· boost the awareness and the acquisition of new game users for studios and publishers in Brazil and Latin America;
· Connect the gaming public, use the resources of the DigitalReef platform and interact with them on the device of their choice;
· Develop specific and advanced products and features for games, focused on the needs of game studios, publishers and advertisers interested in connecting with these audiences through smartphones and Connected TVs.
In the last five years, the games industry in Latin America has shown significant growth. Key markets such as Brazil, Mexico and Chile lead the expansion of regional revenue – US$ 1.3 billion, US$ 1.2 billion and US$ 354 million, respectively -, with numerous opportunities for growth in these and other countries of the region in the coming years.
The expansion of games followed the increase in the use of smartphones. Latin America has seen a sharp increase in consumption of mobile games and today, 58% of Latin Americans play games on their mobile devices. The low entry barriers to mobile game development and high accessibility attract players from Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and Colombia, among others. Experts believe that, this year, 48% of gaming revenue in Latin America will come from cell phones. Through this new partnership, DigitalReef and Gamers Club are positioned right at the center of these trends.
From now on, the game publishers will have access to exclusive opportunities to drive downloads, engagement and monetization of their titles and franchises across CTV and mobile platforms. These chances are made possible by DigitalReef’s partnerships with operators and apps throughout Latin America.
