The campaign, signed by Africa and executed by Haute, began in Italy and put Italian tastes to the test.
The age-old debate about whether or not to put ketchup on pizza will be over. To address this issue, Heinz introduced the pizza crust that comes with ketchup, called “Heinzolla”.
The campaign, signed by Africa and executed by Haute, began in the city of Naples, Italy, where the brand opened a pizzeria, for a limited time, on the city’s most traditional street and put traditional Italian taste to the test, challenging the locals from the capital of Pizza to test the novelty.
In an era full of judgments and rules everywhere, Heinzolla comes to entertain people in response to a cultural tension that goes beyond cariocas and paulistas. Ketchup on Pizza is already a national discussion and it is only fair that we help people by bringing innovation and a bit of lightness to this conversation, said Thiago Stelle, Marketing Manager at Heinz.
The action, which started in Italy, arrived at Brazilian pizzerias starting this Wednesday (1st), and initially there will be four participating pizzerias spread across So Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte and Fortaleza. Other pizzerias interested will also be able to sell the additional Heinzzola, using the materials that will be made available on the landing page of the action.
On Heinz’s social networks, we are going to teach pizzerias and consumers who want to try it out at home or in their businesses, with a step-by-step guide prepared by Heinz chefs, added Stelle.
