According to the survey, from the beginning of 2022 until the end of the Brazilian, 159 sponsors at some point stamped their brands on the uniforms of teams that competed in Serie A. This amount is 8% lower compared to the survey carried out in 2021, when 172 sponsors displayed their logos on elite Brazilian soccer teams.
Some reasons justify this slight reduction last season compared to 2021. The first reason was the drop of Sport and Chapecoense to Serie B, with these two teams being among those that had the most sponsors stamping their uniforms.
