Magalu started a project to sell advertising on the delivery packaging of products purchased via e-commerce by customers.
The first customer for Magalu’s personalized boxes is Samsung, which launched the new Galaxy S23 line. For this beginning of the project, more than 18 thousand packages were produced with socio-environmental certification (FSC), biodegradable and made from renewable energy sources.
There is always an expectation for the arrival of orders placed over the internet. Contact with a brand right after receiving an item is accurate and objective, as this consumer is strongly impacted, said Leonardo Correa, advertising manager at Magalu.
For this action, thousands of customers will be directed, through the QR Code of the packages, to check out the Galaxy S23 launch offers in the Magalu application.
The potential of this giant market. Magalu sells on average more than 3 billion reais a month through its e-commerce. There are millions of customers, in all states of the country, impacted by brands that advertise in logistics packages.
This project allows the company to open yet another monetization front from these advertising spaces, in one of the company’s direct channels with its customers. Our strategy is focused on offering these opportunities to brands in any segment, from large technology companies to transport and streaming applications, for example, says Correa.
