This week, the brand presented the two destinations on the Bota Pra Correr platform and this year’s Famlia Corre line
Located on the edge of the BR-116, in the city of Horizonte, Ceará, the largest Vulcabras factory that manufactures the Olympikus, Mizuno and Under Armor brands – opened its doors this week to the press, athletes and influencers.
The idea, in addition to presenting the factory that has more than 11,000 employees, was to publicize the calendar and launches of the Corre Family, two of the main pillars of Olympikus.
The strategy, based on the positioning of being Brazilian, has worked so far. This Wednesday (1st), Vulcabras presented the results to the market: revenues of R$ 738 million in the fourth quarter, an increase of almost 20% in the annual comparison, and a net profit of R$ 214 million.
Márcio Callage, CMO of Vulcabras, says that Olympikus, above all, has more territory to conquer. He explains that running in Brazil is one of the most practiced sports. “If we manage to mobilize more and more people around this sport in the country, we understand that we will be protagonists”, he stated.
The growth forecast for 2023 is, in Callage’s words, ‘pretty robust’. “Today there is a basis for building demand that is much more equalized than last year, for example,” she pointed out.
BPC and Famlia Corre
One of the brand’s main bets, the Bota Pra Correr running platform, an Olympikus running platform, had its two 2023 destinations announced: Costa do Conde (PB) on September 9, and Vale dos Vinhedos (RS), on the 18th of November.
Another novelty presented, and perhaps the most awaited one, were the launches of Famlia Corre, the brand’s line of running shoes. Corre Grafeno 2, Corre 3 and Corre Vento 2 were presented, as well as Corre Trilha, a new member of the family of all these products manufactured in Brazil.
“The year begins with surveys that placed Olympikus products among the main ones launched in 2022. And that already makes us the only Brazilian brand considered on the list, and gives us an important vision, in the medium to long term, for us to work on” , Callage said.
