To celebrate International Women’s Day, Ga.ma Italy, a manufacturer of hair care products, launched the Voce a protagonista campaign, which features emotional stories from company employees. The idea is to highlight the protagonism of real women who make the business happen, in their daily lives. All, without exception, made an essential contribution to the history and evolution of GA.MA Italy, a company that involves women in all cycles of its operations, says Deise Carvalho, marketing manager for the brand in Brazil.
The ambassador of GA.MA Italy, Wander Lima, assisted by a team of hairdressers and make-up artists, took care of the production of the fourteen women, who lived the experience of being models for a day. After the clicks were taken in a professional photography studio, they had the opportunity to tell their life stories in individual videos that are part of the campaign.
With the initiative, the brand also wants to amplify the message of the need for representation and support for diversity and inclusion in advertising. We need to have campaigns that are less stereotyped, more in line with society’s demands and that reflect women, bodies and hair that are part of the concrete world, said Deise Carvalho.
