“The Crown and Anchor” pub in Ted Lasso is home to the city’s most obsessed Richmond supporters, where fans root for their favorite players and of course, the underdog England team. Now, fans of the Apple TV series can also stay overnight at the pub.
Actress Annette Badland, who plays the lovable and sassy bartender, is hosting three stays at The Crown & Anchor pub in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products. Fans can start booking their stay starting March 21st on Airbnb. The action, of course, is part of a promotional campaign to publicize the last season of the comedy series.
“The Crown and Anchor is an essential element of AFC Richmond. It’s where friends, colleagues and teammates gather to celebrate our triumphs or deal with the agony of relegation. That’s why I’m delighted to have guests (and take the night off!). It’s time to give others the opportunity to experience the same camaraderie and sense of community that the Lasso trainer inspires. After all, we are Richmond until we die!”
Up to four guests in England will have the opportunity to stay overnight on October 23, 24 and 25, 2023 through Airbnb. For only £11 per night (which is equivalent to approximately 67 reais here in Brazil). The value is a nod to the number of players on a football team. In addition, guests will be able to request the reservation of three individual stays of one night, during which they can “channel your inner trainer (or pub owner)“, including accommodations such as pub food, cheering on sports in the city dressed in AFC Richmond clothes, and even sitting down at Ted Lasso’s favorite pub table.
The third season of the Apple+ original series Ted Lasso returns to the streaming service on March 15th. Check out the trailer for the final season of the series:
