DM9, for example, leave Vila Madalena and go to Pinheiros; see the other changes
The Brazilian agencies, belonging to the Omnicom group, will have to change addresses or share their offices between them. This will be the case for Africa, DM9, CDN, Interbrand, TBWA, ID and Ketchum.
According to PROPMARK sources, DM9 will leave Vila Madalena, in the west zone of So Paulo, to occupy a building in Pinheiros, the same destination as Interbrand. The CDN, in turn, will move to the Africa building.
What happens in Brazil, in fact, is part of a global effort to optimize real estate costs by various agencies of global holdings. The movement is in line with the new practices after the Covid-19 pandemic, such as hybrid work and, consequently, the lower frequency of employees in the office.
The Omnicom group, however, has been making moves in this direction all over the world in recent months. In January of this year, the TBWA\Chiat\Day New York agency was the last agency in the sector to leave the traditional Madison Avenue, in New York, to move to a more open office, and in line with the new reality.
