A duo of Brazilian creatives are packing their bags for the US, and Associados and Saigon production companies have new scene directors
McDonald’s has a new marketing director. Ex-Meta in Africa. And Ex-Africa at David Miami. These were some of the movements of the first full week of March.
In the world of advertisers, the main news was the arrival of Sergio Eleutrio to occupy the chair of marketing director of the McDonald’s Brasil. This chair had been vacant since the beginning of December last year, when Joo Branco announced that he was leaving Mqui, after eight years.
With more than two decades in the market, the executive led high-performance marketing at companies such as The Kraft Heinz Company, Grupo Boticrio, ABInbev and NotCo.
Now in the agencies, there was a couple of creatives packing their bags for the United States. More specifically, Miami. Bruno Reis e Joo Corazza sero ACD from David Miami and will now join the CCO team, Rafa Donato.
The two have been working together since 2016 and were in Africa for almost four years, where they created ‘Creamy Hair’for Brahma, campaign that won seven Lions at Cannes, among other awards.

The executive arriving from Meta Its mission is to implement processes based on agility, centered on technology and focused on communities, in addition to creating a new creative process that is more permeable in the agency.

Givanildo Menezes took over as the new director of journalism at CNN Brazilposition left by Fabiano Falsi. With more than two decades of experience in the market, he will face the challenge, among others, of continuing the movement to strengthen hard news coverage.
Giva, as he is known, participated in the station’s creative team. He was responsible for setting up the offices in Brasilia and Rio de Janeiro. In São Paulo, he served as director of strategy, a position he held until the beginning of 2022, when he accepted an invitation from Record TV to, once again, be the station’s chief editor in São Paulo.

Stephanie Freitas started to occupy, as of this week, the journalism superintendence of RedeTV! The professional, who has already worked for the broadcaster, was at the Secretariat of State for Metropolitan Transport, on TV Jovem Pan, and returned last year to the broadcaster.
She took over as head of policy and then editorial, before taking the chair of journalism oversight. According to RedeTV!, Stephanie will develop a joint work with the broadcaster’s editorial advisor, journalist Kennedy Alencar.
New manager at Transamerica
A Rdio Transamrica hired angela gomez as the new manager of the station’s commercial department in So Paulo. The professional, who has been working for the Network for three years, assumes the role after changes that have been implemented by Fbio Fariaexecutive director of Rede Transamérica de Comunicação, since 2019.
Before joining Transamerica, Angela worked for companies such as Editora Abril, Folha de S.Paulo, RBS and Sistema Globo de Rdio, where she accumulated experience in radio and digital products.

Graduated from Teatro Escola Macunama and specialized in Cinema from the School of Visual Arts in New York, the professional entered the audiovisual market in Brazil in 2014 after spending eight years in the Big Apple.
Since then, she combined her experiences in cinema and advertising as an assistant director in several projects, many of them foreign, until she took on the position of scene director.
Nicole has directed, throughout her career, for major brands such as Disney, Havaianas, Asics, Rexona, Eudora and Po de Acar. In entertainment, she was assistant director for Black Mirror, filmed in São Paulo.

A Saigon Films announced this week the arrival of Mariana Youssef as the new stage director. The former Paranoid will be represented by the production company’s Brazilian and Mexican offices.
In advertising, the professional has in her portfolio films for brands such as Ford, J&J, Rolling Stone, Fiat, Sky, Natura, Samsung, Coca-Cola, among others.
