The sponsorship aims to strengthen rugby among young people in schools and clubs in Jacare in the state of So Paulo
Suzano and the Brazilian Rugby Confederation (CBRu) signed a partnership to enhance the project developed by the entity called Vem pro Rugby.
The initiative has been in existence for five years and encourages the practice of physical activity and school attendance by young people across the country.
The partnership reinforces our belief that a fairer and more sustainable world is built on attitudes that can influence people, motivate change and positively impact society, as is the case with encouraging sports practices as a tool for social transformation. Finding partners who have a similar purpose to ours and who can help develop the regions where we are present is essential for us to build a better future in those places, said Isabel Masago, Communication and Brand manager at Suzano.
The sponsorship seeks to strengthen sport among young people in schools and clubs in Jacare, in the state of So Paulo, in addition to working with rugby as a tool for social transformation and future training for the children participating in the project.
Jacare is a very important center for Brazilian rugby, having one of the biggest projects for youth teams and, soon, gaining an exclusive stadium for rugby. With this, Suzano’s support will be crucial to consolidate Jacare as a rugby capital, reinforcing the synergy between Suzano and Brasil Rugby in favor of social transformation, added Mariana Min, CEO of CBRu;
