With the exhibition ‘Telas do Pride’, the operator unites art and technology to highlight issues such as representativeness and respect for differences
Vivo has the ‘Telas do Pride’ space at SP-Arte, which takes place at the Bienal Foundation, until April 2nd. The initiative unites art and technology to highlight the flags of the LGBTI+ community, such as representation, respect for differences and appreciation of unique identities.
The exhibition features relevant names from the diversity scene, curated by Andrs Hernndez, postdoctoral fellow in visual arts and LGBTI+ activist, who selected works by artists Lício Miazaki, Bruna Kuri, Hudinilson Jr, Paula Garcia and Kuenan Tikuna. There are photographs, performances and other works that receive digital and interactive versions specially designed for the space.
On site, visitors can also watch videos with comments and interpretations by specialists from the LGBTI+ scene, participate in debates with the authors of these videos and take guided tours through other SP-Arte spaces with an exclusive script.
The Telas do Pride initiative represents Vivo’s most recent step in its consistent trajectory of engagement for diversity. Similar to other projects, the company uses cultural and artistic spaces, combined with the presence of technology, to encourage reflections on the representativeness of marginalized groups and encourage dialogue and initiatives towards a more pluralistic society, says the marketing and communication director from Vivo, Marina Daineze.
