After a year of 2021 with big releases from games, the year 2022 promises to be no different. With titles ranging from the long-awaited RPG Elden Ring, to God of War Ragnarok, 2022 should be an excellent year for the gaming world.
So, we’ve listed the most anticipated games of this year, for all platforms. It is worth noting that some names still do not have a specific release date, but are confirmed for 2022.

Elden Ring

To start our list, one of the biggest releases of this year, Elden Ring, is a third-person action RPG developed by FromSoftware, and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game is a project between game director Hidetaka Miyazaki and fantasy novelist George RR In Elden Ring, the player will attempt to retrieve a magic ring and become an Elden Lord. The game has a release date scheduled for 25/02.
Hogwarts Legacy

Hogwarts Legacy is an open world action RPG set in the wizarding world of the 1800s. In it, you will experience becoming a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, embarking on an unprecedented and dangerous journey to uncover a hidden truth of the wizard world. In principle, Hogwarts Legacy will be released in 2022, but according to journalist Colin Moriarty, Avalanche Software may delay the game to 2023.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
PS5, Xbox Series X | S e PC
In “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League”, the player must control the X-Force, a team of supervillains assembled to defeat the Justice League, which is under the control of the villain Brainiac. In the game, it will be possible to experience the unique abilities of each supervillain in Metropolis. So far, the game does not have a release date.
God of War Ragnarok

Following the events of God of War (2018), God of War: Ragnarok follows Kratos’ journey through the Norse world. In the sequel that should end this journey, Kratos and Atreus intend to prevent Ragnarok, the end of the world, in Norse mythology. So far, Sony has not announced the official release date of the game.
Horizon Forbidden West

One of the most anticipated games of the year, Horizon Forbidden West continues the story of Alloy. The protagonist must face new animals and have new items for battles, in addition to a special mode called Surge of Courage. Horizon Forbidden West arrives on Sony consoles on 02/18.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild 2

Announced in the Nintendo Direct at E3 2021, the sequel to 2017’s critically acclaimed The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is still untitled, but is slated for a 2022 release.
Dying Light 2: Stay Human
PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch e PC
Dying Light 2 is the sequel to the critically acclaimed open world zombie game with parkour elements. Among the highlights of the new game are the player’s decisions, which will directly interfere with the structure of the open world. Techland’s new game arrives on 04/02.
Gotham Knights
PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One e PC
After the events of Batman Arkham Knights, Batman is dead, and now it’s up to his charges: Batgirl, Nightwing, Robin and Red Hood, to protect Gotham City. Gotham’s new knights must save Gotham and uncover the secrets of the Court of Owls. Like God of War: Ragnarok, Gotham Knights does not have a release date.
A Plague Tale: Requiem

The sequel to 2019’s award-winning A Plague Tale: Innocence, this year 2022, but still no date set. The game follows the journey of Amicia, alongside her brother, Hugo, as they try to survive the period of the Black Death. It is worth noting that the game, still without a date, arrives directly on Game Pass, the Xbox game streaming service.
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope

Developed by Ubisoft, the game brings together Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Rabbid Peach, Rabbid Luigi and friends on an adventure to defeat an evil entity and save their companions Spark. So far, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope does not have a release date, but it should arrive in 2022.
