CazéTV has just been reinforced with the arrival of Fernanda Gentil. The journalist, presenter and content creator will be one of the stars of the biggest sporting event in history: the Women’s World Cup, which will be held in Australia and New Zealand, starting in July this year.
Fernanda has extensive experience with sports, having commanded several sports programs on Globo and SporTV and participating in the coverage of the 2014 and 2018 World Cups. The journalist further reinforces the CazeTV team.
Fernanda Gentil explains:
“It will be a delight to do what I love so much and have done so many times, but at the same time in a completely new way: with the incredible team at CazéTV, in the digital environment where I feel very comfortable, and on top of that having the Casimiro as a partner! I feel honored and special with the invitation, I’m already looking forward to thinking about everything we can create together in this Cup that is so special for me, which is the Women’s Cup! I will work hard to deliver a very complete coverage and full of cool, curious and fun ingredients.”
The announcement of the journalist’s arrival comes with the confirmation that CazeTV will broadcast and cover the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023, in the same way as the hugely successful broadcasts of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 last year. One game per day will be broadcast with images, in addition to the highlights of all matches. While Casimiro, Luisinho and a team that will be announced soon, broadcast the competition from Brazil, Fernanda will lead the team in the countries of the Cup, accompanying the Brazilian National Team and the main teams and stars of world football.
Casimiro comments:
“Being able to broadcast the second World Cup in less than a year on CazéTV is really cool. We are putting together a very cool team, which lives the day-to-day of women’s football. Fernanda Gentil has already arrived covering Australia and New Zealand directly in her own way (which is also CazéTV’s), with a lot of irreverence, information and fun. I am looking forward to experiencing a World Cup again!”
In addition to the Women’s World Cup, Fernanda Gentil will be involved in other projects on the channel, including transmissions and her own productions.
