The 2023 edition of the collection features a campaign created by Ghana called “Occupying space at every step”
Havaianas teamed up with the NGO Gerando Falces to launch the new products from the “Quebrada Cria” collection, which will see 7% of sales reverted to the Chain’s projects.
For the 2023 edition, Ghana created the campaign Occupying space at every step, which brings a provocation so that the creative power, innovation and technology of the hood is increasingly recognized and goes even further.
We were so happy with the success of the collection that Havaianas became a blank canvas once again to show all the creative power of the neighborhood. We want the favela to occupy more and more physical and cultural spaces in our society, giving more visibility to these people is the first step on a long journey, said Beto Funari, CEO of Alpargatas.
This time, the brands invite three artists to print the new products in the collection, which will go on sale from April 17th, with pre-sales from April 14th. The arts were made by Lilo Viana (from Beira Rio, in Paranagu, Paraná), Suellen Rodrigues (from Jurema, in Caucaia, Ceará) and Vicente Santeiro (from Pao da Ptria, in Alecrim, Rio Grande do Norte).
“Last year, the Quebrada Cria collection was one of the greatest cases of Havaianas, and I am sure that, with so much creativity and innovation involved, the new edition will be even more successful. We are very happy and excited about this work. We are immensely grateful. because, in addition to all the beauty of the project, it is born from the heart of the favelas we serve and part of the value reverts to the fight against poverty”, emphasized Edu Lyra, founder and CEO of Gerando Falces.
The new Havaianas Quebrada Cria collection will be on sale in Havaianas physical and e-commerce stores throughout Brazil, in addition to department stores and large retail chains.
