Since arriving in the Portuguese capital, Digitalks has been welcomed and has become a reference in events with themes for the digital universe in Portugal. The 2023 event was no different! Digitalks Lisboa was held at Lispolis – Polo Tecnológico de Lisboa, where it brought together around 800 delegates and more than 70 speakers in two days full of content and networking.
The audience was inspired with a lot of valuable content like a special track on Marketing with Purpose and Technology in the B2B market, led by Ana Barros, CEO of Martech Digital, and with the presence of Carla Fonseca, CMO of BI4All, and Patricia Mestre, CMO of Microsoft Portugal. The executives spoke about the challenges of marketing teams with the help of artificial intelligence and market trends.
Another lecture that drew a lot of attention was that of Manuel Dias, National Director of Technology at Microsoft Portugal, who shared the vision and many of Microsoft’s recent innovations in Artificial Intelligence, which range from far beyond ChatGPTand that will revolutionize the way people work and live
The Portuguese chapter of the Women In Tech organization was also present, taking to the auditorium some of the challenges of female entrepreneurship in the digital economy. Ana Alves, Isabel Neves and Luiza Baltazar spoke about some issues, such as access to funding, representation in STEM, balance between professional and personal life based on the cultural landscape of the number of roles and responsibilities of women. They took some statistics, such as the equity of opportunity gap for females in STEM, which is forecast to equity only 191 years from now and equality in 294 years.

Many other contents were presented during the two days of the event, bringing up subjects on social responsibility, sustainability, data-based marketing, e-commerce trends, culture of innovation, etc.
Special auditorium for e-commerce
O E-commerce Auditorium by VTEX was guided by topics related to the digital commerce and retail ecosystem, with relevant content on trends, challenges and opportunities in the digital market. Among the topics addressed at the Pink Carpet were new technologies, customer and user experience, logistics, marketplace and other matters that impact e-commerce. Representatives of large companies such as Google Portugal, Worten, Pingo Doce, Salsa, among others, shared their knowledge and presented cases of success and transformation.
Pedro Simões, who has participated in several editions of Digitalks Lisboa, believes that this was, without a doubt, the best edition of the event so far. “This event had many ingredients that I consider essential in a good event. I won’t go into detail, but o app it was, without a doubt, a strategic and information asset. I highlight the speaker quality and the debates, which managed to attract attention on both stages and add value and knowledge to those present”, says the participant, who is a Digital Marketing and Digital Business Consultant.
