Amount invested increased by 7% compared to 2021; see the list of the 20 agencies
BETC Havas, Galeria, WMcCann, Africa and Artplan were the five agencies that most invested in media buying in 2022, according to the Cenp-Meios ranking, released this Thursday (13).
Regarding the top 5 of 2021, there were changes WMcCann, for example, dropped from first to third place; Artplan jumped from ninth to fifth, and BETC went from 13th to the top.
In total, the sum of the 20 agencies closed at BRL 21.2 billion, registering an increase of 7% when compared to 2021. According to the institution, the increase in investments signals a consistent resumption of advertising activity in Brazil.
The ranking brings together the agencies that authorized their entry on the list and computes the data that arrive at the Cenp system directly from the information of the Insertion Orders executed by the participating agencies on behalf of their client-advertisers, without indicating which advertiser made the request. the investment and for which vehicle it was intended.
In addition to the amount invested, the system tabulates the means of communication, region and states in which the investments were made, and the data is presented in reais and dollars, in addition to allowing the calculation of the share of the media, regions and states in the advertising pie.
