To honor and immortalize the King of Football, sportv in partnership with the Pelé Foundation, promotes a campaign for the name of the star to be included in the dictionary as the entry “the best of all”. The coordination, development and creation of the project is signed by sportv together with the End to End agency and is curated by Memorabília do Esporte.
Eduardo Gabbay, head of sports at Globo, commented on the campaign to honor Pelé:
“Pelé lives in our hearts. For Sportv, a brand that lives by transmitting emotions, contributing to its legacy is more than an obligation, it is a privilege. Pelé in the dictionary is the least retribution for those who gave us so much.”
The campaign begins with a film and digital pieces calling on the public to participate in a petition on the campaign’s official website. The broadcast will take place on the sportv programming grid and also on social networks.
In a second stage, the action will count on the participation of personalities and influencers to expand the reach of the campaign and sensitize publishers to the publication of the entry in dictionaries, thus closing yet another chapter in the history of the man who dared to be the best among us all.
