Solution Journalism is an approach that is increasingly valued by readers and viewers looking for stories that present solutions to problems in their communities. The Journalism of Solutions course presents themes such as: contextualization and introduction to the functions of journalism from different communication authors, going through the context for the emergence of journalism of solutions and the challenges to implement it within the routines of traditional journalism.
Camila Farias, professor of the Expande Educação course, comments:

Lasting 6 weeks, the course is divided into 6 modules with recorded classes that students can watch wherever and whenever they want, in addition to two live classes at the end of the course. Camila Farias adds:
“Our course intends to show how journalistic coverage could be done in the light of solutions journalism. A journalist who knows the techniques and characteristics of solutions journalism becomes a differential in the job market.”
Enrollment for the course remains open until April 30 and can be done at journalismdesolucoes.cursosparajornalistas.com.br. The investment is BRL 197 in cash or up to 12 installments of BRL 19.66. At the end of the course, the student will receive a certificate of completion.
