With that, Juliana Albuquerque assumes the position of executive vice-president of the entity
Juliana Albuquerque is Conar’s new executive vice-president, replacing Edney Narchi, who announced his retirement from the entity after 38 years.
Upon taking office, the executive becomes the leader of Conar’s technical and administrative staff, advising Sergio Pompilio on external representation, including before authorities of the Three Powers and international entities in which Conar participates.
A lawyer trained at PUC/SP, Juliana was Edney’s right hand man for the last 22 years. Among her responsibilities was the processing of representations in the Ethics Council and all actions to modernize the Brazilian Advertising Self-Regulation Code, made necessary by the growth of digital media.
She was involved, for example, in the design, organization and dissemination of the Advertising Guide for Digital Influencers, launched at the end of 2020, based on dialogue with the main players in digital media.
The lessons he leaves for Conar and for me personally are valuable: precision and speed in dealing with complaints and a sense of understanding and cordiality in relations with consumers, associates, authorities and the advertising market in general, just to name a few, he said.
