Panasonic launched its global Green Impact campaign, which aims to reinforce the brand’s commitment to sustainability and influence consumers to act now.
The play, signed by Repense Comunicação, stars Olympic gymnast and Panasonic ESG ambassador, Rebeca Andrade. The film shows the athlete performing a training session in front of Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, in Rio de Janeiro, while the scenery changes and shows the dry lagoon, the dark sky, aiming to show what the environment would look like if people did not act today.
With the voiceover off, Rebeca warns of the need for a change of attitude, saying that everything we know, everything we do, everything we love is at risk. The time to act now. Together we can make the difference. For sustainability, for me and for the planet.
Green Impact on taking action. In this sense, we aim to sensitize the public, especially GenZ, about the importance of adopting better choices for the planet. With this campaign, we want this mindset to be transmitted to the public as well, so that we can generate reflections and actions. Having Rebeca, an athlete for whom we have great admiration, who shares our values and who connects with young people is an honor and very strategic for our ESG agenda, said Alice Junqueira, Marketing, Communication and Digital Manager at Panasonic do Brasil.
In addition to Rebeca, the global campaign features other athletes such as tennis player Naomi Osaka, swimmer Michael Phelps and ice skater Nathan Chen, and will be broadcast on open and closed TV, in addition to the Olympic channel (of the Brazilian Olympic Committee) and on the channels Panasonic official fingerprints.

In partnership with the public relations agency, mam, Panasonic will broadcast a round table on Tik Tok, this Tuesday (25), with a squad of 11 influencers, who are references in the areas of sustainability, veganism and food, such as Verdes Marias, Gi Ca, as well as Rebeca Andrade herself.
There were two days of filming and many days of preparation and studies using different post-production techniques in order to have the most realistic look possible, added Ricardo Carelli, Scene Director of the production company Vetor Zero, responsible for the project.
