The intention of the initiative is to train professionals to manage people, projects and businesses
AlmapBBDO and Soko, together with the Dreamers Group that owns Artplan, Convert and A-Lab, joined ESPM to launch the free course “Fill the Gap”, which is part of a series of initiatives for diversity and inclusion by companies, with a commitment to increase the hiring and promotion of leaders from these groups.
The course will be exclusive for black, indigenous, disabled, trans or non-binary people and will offer education for the professional improvement of profiles who want to occupy leadership positions in the communication industry.
To publicize the project, a campaign was launched that features a film produced by the production companies TD/Studio and LOUD+, in addition to advertisements and proprietary profiles on the website and LinkedIn.
The initiative will have 40 vacancies for people who work from the management level, with at least five years of experience, and aims to raise awareness and provoke the market so that more vacancies for leadership positions are opened and shared. With a duration of six months, students will have live classes twice a week, for three hours a day, in the evening.
Registration will be open on the project’s website until May 7th and the selection process will be carried out by EmpregueAfro consultancy. The list of selected candidates will be announced in the week of May 29th.
The course methodology is divided into five tracks, namely the Engagement Track (master class and cycles with content contribution, practical application, career reflection and rest); Professional Development Trail (career coach and market mentors); Self-Knowledge Trail (with disciplines on Self-Esteem, Emotional Intelligence, D&I and master classes, such as corporate English, personal branding and oratory techniques); Relational Trail (with disciplines on Leadership and Success and Reputation, Corporate Image and Crisis Management); and Corporate Track (with disciplines on Projects and Business, Finance and ESG, Governance and Sustainability). The intention is to train professionals to manage people, projects and businesses.
The entire design of the project had the support of André Chaves, founder of Papel e Caneta, a non-profit collective action that aims to unite communication leaders in favor of social causes.
