Talents from ten countries mixed musical references mentored by Marcelo D2 and Nave Beatz in the All Star Series project
the global project All Star Series, by Converse, arrives for the first time in Latin America to feel the rhythm of the Brazilian Carnival. As a setting for one of the most diverse cultural moments on the planet, the project’s young creatives composed and produced four original musical tracks celebrating the mix of traditional Brazilian sounds.
Os All Stars they made several activations to be influenced by the energy of the moment in the city of So Paulo. They visited the carnival blocks Il Ob de Min, Explode Corao and Cumbia Calavera, as well as guided tours of the city’s artistic spots in Beco do Batman and downtown, visits to typical Brazilian food restaurants and workshops with local artists to learn more about the culture. To guide them through the creation process, participants had the opportunity to work with one of the greatest rappers Brazilians, Marcelo D2, known for his mastery in mixing musical rhythms. They also worked with Latin Grammy Award winning music producer Nave Beatz.
The All Star Series So Paulo is the fourth edition of the global project and the songs are already available on the main audio aggregators.
