On May 4th, one of the most beloved characters in national literature celebrates his 60th birthday. In celebration, Avenida Paulista receives Mônica’s faithful squire in an incredible size, a Sanso Gigante will be installed on top of Conjunto Nacional for a month.
“We opened the celebration of Monica’s birthday to the public in great style, calling everyone to witness the strength of the character and have fun with another chapter in the story of this girl who is so strong and who inspires so many Brazilians. talking about Dona da Rua without taking the grandeur of its 60 years of history without a proportional action”, says Mnica Sousa, executive director and inspiration for the character.
The artistic intervention is part of a series of activities that will travel throughout Brazil for a year to celebrate the date the character was created. The schedule of all activations is available on Turma da Mônica’s social networks and on the campaign’s hotsite.
