The drink version is only available on some days and places in the capital of Rio de Janeiro, through the Z Delivery app
Ambev launched an action where it presented consumers with the traditional Chopp Brahma, only in cans.
The initiative was conceived based on a survey carried out by the company, which pointed to an exponential growth in the sale of draft beer, in addition to requests from consumers who wanted to consume the drink at home, quickly and uncomplicated.
The project was conceived by Ambev’s innovation team and the company’s Technological Innovation Center, located in Rio de Janeiro. There was a lot of research and testing until we arrived at a micro filtration process that guarantees quality, freshness and a super creamy foam, said Daniel Baumann, CIT director.
To make the action reach consumers, Ambev relies on Z Delivery, which was responsible for the delivery and storage of cans of draft beer.
“Many years ago, we heard from consumers the dream of being able to drink draft beer easily at home, with the same flavor and quality. This innovation was only possible due to the advancement in the platform model that Ambev has been developing in recent years, as despite being in a can, Brahma Chopp needs to have the entire logistics chain refrigerated to guarantee quality and freshness, from the brewery to the consumer’s home”, said Gustavo Castro, Innovation director at Ambev.
The launch was delivered directly at the Web Summit, last Wednesday (3). At first, the canned version of Chopp Brahma will only be available on certain days and places in the capital of Rio de Janeiro through the Z Delivery app. The company expects to leave for new markets soon.
