Paddy Cosgrave, organizer and creator of the event, estimates that the next edition should receive more than 40 thousand people
After four days of agenda that included technology, artificial intelligence services and that involved 970 startups, the first edition of the Web Summit left a positive balance, according to the organizer and creator of the event, the executive Paddy Cosgrave.
His idea is that the project is the most influential in the development of innovation-oriented businesses in Latin America.
This year, 21,300 participants visited the Rio Centro space, in Rio de Janeiro, from 91 countries. There were 173 strategic partners, such as Rede Globo, Stone, Ita BBA and Bradesco, in addition to 974 startups and 400 speakers.
Paddy said that for 2024, from April 15 to 18, the Web Summit is expected to attract an audience of approximately 40,000 people to the capital of Rio de Janeiro. For this, it will hire a larger area of Rio Centro, since this year it had to stop selling tickets to the venue due to the interest.
It was an incredible experience for our proposal to show the advances in technology at the service of the market that seeks to be aligned with the ESG agenda that involves inclusion, socio-environmental issues and transformation, Paddy Cosgrave told PROPMARK exclusively.
