The company renewed its sponsorship with the duo.
The pilots compete in the GT3 category of the championship in command of a BMW #15, from the Pole Motorsport team. In addition, they will participate in the competition of endurance and Porsche Cup with car 34, also supported by the company, repeating the successful partnership of recent years.
According to Josemara Tsuruoka, manager of Marketing Institutional of EMS, the company has a long history of supporting sports in its various modalities.
“This is one of our initiatives in the area of social responsibility, directly linked to promoting people’s health and quality of life. And, along with so many Brazilians who follow and enjoy speed competitions, we are also rooting for Léo and Átila to perform excellent races and achieve many good results”, he highlights.
Born in Santo André (SP), Leonardo Sanchez made his debut in motorsport in Stock Light, in 2018, in which he also competed in 2019, always sponsored by EMS. He is a businessman and a successful driver, with several titles won in a short career. In 2019, he took first place in the Porsche endurance. Alongside Átila Abreu, from Sorocaba, an experienced professional and runner-up in the Stock Car in 2014, won the Endurance Brazil in the GT4 category, in the 2020 season. In addition, he is a two-time champion, also with Átila, of Porsche Endurance Series in the GT3 Sport category (years 2019 and 2020).

The next one, on May 27th, will take place at the Interlagos Circuit, in São Paulo (SP). In parallel with the national competition of Império, the duo will run the stages of Endurance and Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge. According to the calendar for this championship, there are still two races on the schedule: one in Interlagos, on November 18 (500 km), and the Endurance International, on September 10, with a location yet to be defined.
